'Please accept my thanks for last week’s course. It was timely for me in a couple of ways:
1) It is always useful to learn skills before applying them so you don't fall in to bad habits that you then need to try and change. I have a very willing pupil I will be trying all my new tips and techniques out on!
2) I am going through a difficult time personally and a reminder of what is my responsibility and what I can effect against what I can't was really useful (E+R=O). Also the fact that my attitude is up to me and their attitude is up to them was a good reminder along with letting someone deal with their own bananas!! I can't be responsible for everyone else and their own attitudes and problems, but I can support and help them deal with them.
So although this was a business course and I learnt some new techniques for starting my management experiences, on a personal level I got a lot out of the two days and I thank you both for that'. -
